Tai Thong - Imperial China Restaurant (SS17) - Dim sum Lunch

Michelle called for lunch. Went around SS15 but dunno what to eat.

Finally decided to go over to SS14 for Teo-Chew porridge.

Passed by SS17 and saw Tai Thong Imperial China Restaurant ( the red sign board)

"Dim-sum" .. stroke our mind. U-turn and there we go.

This is the first time i try this Restaurant. Had tried the dim sum of the chain in Selangor Dredging. Wasnt that good. Not much expectation.

However, the ambiance was pretty good. May b not too crowded, so it looks clean and spacious.

Once we settled down, the dimsum cart is juz in front of our table.

Surprised. The food was pretty good. It was above my expectation. It was a good meal indeed. To our surprise, the price was reasonable too. IT is only (RM 2.80 - RM 3.80) per basket, which is about the same price as the restaurant out there. We tried the dessert of the day MANGGO PUDDING. Thumbs up !! Full of mango and no accent at all.


Had a nice chat with dear Mic too. It had been sumtime since we last chat about everything. Great afternoon. >.<

Drop by Taiping for a short visit as I have not been thr for like 20 years. So, my fren suggested that we stop at Kuala Sepetang, a nearby fishing village for a dinner. Sounds great. I have not had any seafood for sumtime. But only 2 of us, argh .. dun care. I just want to have it.

We ordered:

1 plate of Clams ( LA-LA) fried with ginger and onion

2 pieces of crab with curry leaves

1 plate of "potato leaves" vege

2 plates of white rice

2 glasses of herbal tea

The portion served was pretty big, as if there are 5 of us, besides the crab, coz it is counted by pieces. The food wasnt that good, so din take the initiative to remember the name. However, the best part was the billing. Was very curious, so we bet. I estimated this meal will cost approx RM 60. But my fren bet that it wun go up to RM 50. So excited, waiting for the bill. Wonder wat takes that gal so long to get the bill :S.

Drum rollz .... here comes the bill. Guess what, i was shocked when she read out the amount. For a moment, i starred at my fren and 2 of us started to laugh out loud. We both are so surprised by the price. Guess what ??????

I really cant belive it. Just the cost it self, for the LALA and Vege especially, is the cost so cheap?? Funny .. Anyway, we had a interesting meal. >.<

Exam .... !!!

It's exam time again. Corporate Governance ~ sigh. I really duno if it is my problem or the time. I realise tat I do not master this subject well. aft all i just started like last week and i m not concentrating the whole week :( I think, I juz started to concentrate last saturday. Too late. anyway, tried my best to catch up. But ... today seems to be "losing gas" I CANT FIND MY MOOD AND UMPHHHHHH at all ..... stressed out This is the 1st ever time that i feel so nervous. I know that i never prepare well. That's y i m so scared.

Anyway, what ever the outcome it is, it;s too late dy unless I m a superwoman. I dun wanna lose away a Speedy. Oh gosh, if i do pass, I can have 2 instead. hehe .. (syiok sendiri now pulak). Ate a lot .. eat n eat n eat. Went to Klang all the way to pray "Kong Zi" ( an educated man in the olden days back in China) as if it will help. But, at least better than doin nutin mar. Ouch .. forgotten to go to " Tian Hou Kong" .. sigh~ super mong tong blur sotong. Wonder if it help, as wat Nick say, "last minute only hold buddha's leg" .. this is my last option mar :(

Well well well, too bad. The deadline is here and i will be facing this cruel moment in life. After 5:15pm will be a released. But then .. another paper coming up in 2 weeks time. FINANCIAL RISK MANAGEMENT .. I m starting to luv exams.

Went for a karaoke session session and knew this song, "KENANGAN TERINDAH" very touching. Fell in luv immediately with this song. Started to luv Malay songs. It started with Di persimpangan Dillema by Nora, then followed byMenghitung hari by Kris Dayanti, Bunga-bunga Cinta by Misha Omar and now here comes this super touching song. Wonder y the lyrics are touching, so does the music. This song really played non stop in my mind. I tot luv song is very romantic but then now i realise sad song is even better. haha.

My dearest colleagu, Michelle gave me reallya big surprise. Early the morning while i reach office, had saw a short msg on my workstation .. haha. This cute babe was starring at me and laughing. I was quite dumb actually. Takes me so long to actually solve the clue. :p She was laffing non stop and keep on saying.. "Aiyo .. aiyo" That treasure hunt was really fun. And the present was even a big surprise. Thanks babe. Hope that you will have a Merry Christmas too !

My best ever Christmas Present

Our Christmas party of department this year is in KL Hilton. (too much fund for no department trip) Haha .. "geng" lehh .. and that day itself Deloitte is having their annual dinner in another ball room. The Christmas Party was really fun. The orientation resulted a big "huu-haa" (thanks to GAbby. :p Our partners are so funny that lighten our gift exchange session. The messages are really .. "kewl". The dice game was the killer. (wonder what power i hav that can make Nesh win .. ehem) sorry Gabby .. you really drink a lot that nite. It was a really good nite. !

Christmas !

It is 20th. Christmas is ard the corner. Can see christmas trees ard. At the lobby of my office, the bank, supermarket, the worse wan, thr's one juz in front of my work station in the department. Haha .. I love this season, coz .. it is full of blessed and warmed. Did my christmas shopping during the weekend. Spent a lot. But, juz to think how happy the person who is receiving it, i think, worth it. Will be back to Kelantan for Christmas. Funny right, ppl came down to KL to celebrate Christmas but I did it another way round. I belive, the feelings will be different. However, it will be warm, celebrating with my family. To my dearest friends, Merry Christmas. May we have a warm and happy celebration. Cheers~

I tot, could sleep later today. Eventually woke up at 7:30. Feel dizzy, slept back aft sum massage from grandama. Woke up again aft 2 hrs, this time not only dizzy, but whole body aching. Took one panadol active fast. Couldnt sleep anymore.

Went to Hartamas for lunch. On the courtesy of my uncle, a bak-kut-teh meal for 5 cost RM 115. Crazy eh? Anyway, it is not nice at all. Tried to rush to one-u for Alex's farewell. Too bad, they juz abt to leave. Headed to the Curve then. Wanted to get some earings. Bored with the old one dy. Couldnt find one, so just walk ard. Saw this shop call 7 degree celsius. Closing down sale. Luved their shoes. Too cheap, bought 6 pairs :( crazy . I have to admit it.

Visited Ikea aft that. Grandma wanted to walk ard. Feeling even worse, wanted to vomit. Tot still okie, so walked the whole journey. Finally, cant take it so rush them to pay and leave. Couldnt wait till I reach the loo ... vomitted. Luckily holding a plastic bag. Vomitting non stop since then. Have to consult a doctor. There goes my day. SIck .. and sleep

whoosh... done. Passed.
Cant recall how afraid I m.
2 papers down. 4 more to go.
This time have to work harder.
Opps ... my present is coming :)
